Open Water Diver
The SDI & PADI Open Water Diver course is the first level of scuba diving certification. A highly qualified PADI Instructor will teach you to dive in a safe and relaxed learning environment.
By the end of the course, you will have the skills and knowledge to dive close to your home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.

You will practice using the dive equipment in a pool (or pool-like environment) until you are comfortable. The SDI & PADI course includes practice dives to help you gain confidence in your new skills before making four open water dives.
- Prerequisites: Able to swim; medically fit to dive
- Total time commitment: 3 days
- Minimum age: 10 years and older
- Depth: Includes shallow dives (12 metres/40 feet), maximum depth allowed is 18 metres/60 feet
